JENNY AND HER PETS
Hello, I’m Jennifer Renfro, professional mom, wife, and friend; but, most importantly, a professional lover of pets. I have loved and cared for animals since I was a little and have always felt a strong connection to them. I love being surrounded by pets and their pure joy and happiness, which is why I started my own pet sitting service. I do something I love every day.
I volunteer with several rescues throughout Martin County (Adopt, don’t shop!) and have worked in pet care for the past 9 years. When I am not walking, talking to or playing with animals, my other passions include musical theatre and searching the beaches for sea glass with my hubby. I live in Palm City with my husband Mike, one (still in high school) of our five amazing girls, and four beautiful dogs, Ringo, Lennon, Lucy and Desi.

At Jenny & The Pets, our mission is to provide immaculate, emotionally attentive in-home pet and property care for families who value trust above all else.
We exist to protect not only the wellbeing of beloved pets, but the peace of mind of those who love them.
Through professional systems, consistent communication, medical competence, and long term relationships, we ensure our clients can travel freely — knowing their homes and animals are cared for with the same devotion they would give themselves.
We are not a convenience service.
We are a trusted extension of the family.

Abigail Satchell

Hello! My name is Abigail, and I joined Jenny and the Pets in 2023. I enjoy making 3D art in my spare time. I have loved nature and animals of all kinds for as long as I can remember.
I can’t wait to meet you and your 4 legged family members!
Angel McAhren
Pet Care Professional
Angel grew up in Martin County and currently lives in Jensen Beach with her husband. She graduated from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide) and named her soul dog Saban after the former football coach. Angel has a deep love for animals with experience caring for a variety of pets such as dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, squirrels, and birds. She regularly supports local animal shelters, and her family has rescued several dogs locally as well. Angel feels very lucky to have the opportunity to work with Jenny and the Pets and looks forward to caring for your fur babies — always loving them as if they were her own!
Heidi Condon
Pet Care Professional
Heidi has been with Jenny and the Pets since March of 2023. She grew up on a farm in New England and has always loved animals. She’s lived in Florida since 2004. Currently, Heidi volunteers for American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Services placing rescued Bullmastiffs who are available for adoption. Heidi is a Theatrical Director for The Treasure Coast Theater in Port St. Lucie and ACT and The Barn Theatre in Stuart and is one of the House Managers for The Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart. She and her husband live in Port St. Lucie and have been married for over 40 years. They have a Bullmastiff rescue named Haskell, who keeps them young!
Amie Kroll
Pet Care Professional
Amie joined Jenny and the Pets early 2024. She was born surrounded by animals and has had a menagerie various Birds, Cats or Dogs all her life. Her Mother showed Tennessee Walking Horses until moving to Miami in the 70’s. From feathers to fur her passion for animals is undeniable.
Amie’s artistry spans painting, photography and mixed media. After receiving a Bachelor of Design degree from the University of Florida, she worked as head of the Florida Department of Agriculture’s Art Department and eventually moved on to become Art Director for the University of Florida’s local NPR & PBS affiliates in Gainesville Florida.
Amie moved to Jensen Beach where she decided to pay homage to her two main loves in life, art & music. She loves singing mostly jazz and her expressive pallet is evident in her distinctive love of the surrounding nature of the treasure coast. She also enjoys painting pet portraits. She and partner Brent McAhren paint murals together, some of which can be seen at the Elliott Museum. Joining Jenny and the Pets has been a great way to share her love of animals caring for your pets!
Lori Dodson

I have always had furbabies. I grew up with dogs and finally got my first cat when i moved out on my own. Before moving to Florida, I worked with a rescue group in South Carolina and another in Pennsylvania. I was fortunate to have a perfect set up for fostering dogs and puppy litters. I have fostered 100’s of puppies to their Furever homes. Nothing better than puppy breath! Just like there’s no better greeting than the “Hello” you get from your own pet when you come home. And now, not only do I have the best pup and grand pup IN THE WORLD, I get to spend my retirement loving on other people babies. Thank you for that

Hello, I’m Mike Renfro – graphic artist, husband, dad, granddad, friend, pet lover and all too often the bearer of bad puns. I watched my wife “Jenny” create something that she loves dearly and I wanted to be a part of it. I grew up around animals and there was never a moment that they were not under my feet or in my heart. I love animals and animal people.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, our kids and grandkids, our furry family, friends, beaches, travel and Broadway shows. I live in Palm City with “Jenny”, our doggies – Ringo, Lennon, Lucy, Desi and our cat Asher. And, if I’m lucky I make it to the gym a few times a week. Thanks for letting me love and care for your amazing babies.

Megan is 28 years old from Jensen Beach and has been with Jenny and the Pets for 2 years. As both a dog and cat owner, she loves tending to furry friends and is well versed with pet care. She has reliable transportation and a flexible work schedule with her full-time position in downtown Stuart for afternoon pet care and walks.

Hi, I’m Stephanie! I have over 15 years of professional experience providing dog walking and pet care services. Working with animals has always been more than a job for me—it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and adventuring with my own dog, Nugget. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
